First Visit

Warm hearts, friendly smiles and open minds eagerly await new patients, at CB Orthodontics and the excitement is felt during the first visit to our office. You can expect to be welcomed by our New Patient Coordinator as you receive a complete tour of our office. We will proudly show our modern, fully equipped facility decorated in the current seasonal theme.

Once seated in the consultation room, you will be given an overview of Orthodontic treatment and all that is required to begin treatment. Dr. Baker will perform a comprehensive examination and, after listening to your main concerns, she will discuss potential treatment options. You will then be given an opportunity to ask questions regarding your treatment.

The New Patient Coordinator will then review your financial information, including any insurance, and present several payment options. After you have chosen the best payment option to fit your needs, we may begin Orthodontic treatment by taking diagnostic records.

Dr. Baker will carefully analyze these records and develop a finalized treatment plan. We feel it is important to analyze each patient’s specific needs, because in-depth planning leads to superior results and higher patient satisfaction.

We insist that our patients leave the office with a clear understanding of their specific needs, treatment details and how long it will take.

Please assist us by providing the following useful information at the time of your first visit:

  • Any referral from your dentist, including X-rays taken within the past six months.
  • Insurance card and\or specific information required to verify Orthodontic benefits. You may also provide this information at the time of scheduling your consultation appointment. This will allow us to have all benefits verified prior to your arrival. By providing this information, we will be able to give you an estimate of your out-of-pocket costs. In some instances, you may be fully covered, especially if there is dual insurance coverage.
